Refugee children wrote a play starring the shadow puppets they made.

Asma, a member of the host community, helped Rohingya refugee children in two artistic endeavours – making shadow puppets and scripting plays.

Their first works for Caritas Bangladesh showed violence, but the children moved on to writing about how to keep healthy in a refugee camp.

Aias, who’s 9, said “I had never drawn before until I came to the Caritas Bangladesh Child Friendly Space, but now I love it the most of all the activities”.
