Rowena, a domestic worker from the Philippines, used local nagomi pastel art to draw a moving picture of how she maintains hope, despite being separated from her family.
She joined a day of meeting and reflecting hosted by the Archdiocesan Commission for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People (ACMI).
Rowena said, “The sun is always rising, so it shows hope. And the grass – that’s what we see as we go on our way.”
